This initiative celebrates the legacy of overlooked female musicians from across the globe, with a particular emphasis on the 1960s, 70s, and 80s within Turkey, the MENA region, and Eastern Europe. Utilizing archival research, podcasts, curated mixes, and live performances, the project seeks to illuminate these hidden narratives. The mission is to transform contemporary understanding of women's musical history, fostering a renewed appreciation among both local and international audiences. By uncovering neglected aesthetic and political patterns, the project provides a fresh perspective on female artistic creation. The work is grounded in meticulous archival study, label excavations, artist interviews, and vinyl collection. Launched in Turkey, the project has expanded through sessions in Greece, Tunisia, and Poland.

Intimacy of Longing project
This project chronicles the experiences of Turkish women who emigrated to Germany beginning in 1962, illuminating their emotional and private lives through a blend of storytelling, interviews, and music.​Blending musical and anthropological research, the initiative explores the deep-seated feelings and personal histories of these migrant women. It features a dedicated series of illustrations by Turkish artist Gizem Winter and was launched digitally in 2021 in Turkish, English, and German. The multifaceted project includes an analytical essay, a curated mixtape, a collaborative Spotify playlist involving the protagonists, a podcast, and visual art. It has been presented through interactive exhibitions and live DJ sets, with showcases in Naples in 2023 and Zurich in 2025.​

Turkish Ladies compilation
This project was born from extensive archival research in Istanbul, where I delved into the deep catalogs of historic Turkish record labels managed by Sony Music Turkey. My goal was to rediscover the works of local artists, while also examining visual artifacts like archival photographs, vintage pop-culture magazines, newspapers, posters, and original record sleeves, alongside conducting personal interviews with the creators themselves.Following this curation, the compilation was released on vinyl for the first time, as well as on CD and digital platforms. The process encompassed everything from selection and high-fidelity mastering from original tapes to providing artist interviews, producing liner notes, and overseeing the artistic design and global distribution of all formats.

9NOV1989 project
This initiative was developed to honor the Day of German Unity in 2025 by fostering social awareness surrounding the historic fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989. Conceived as a collective social media endeavor, it culminated in the collaborative playlist "9NOV1989," which offers fresh perspectives on European music and history from the 1989–1990 transition. The project vividly captures the continental spirit of that era, bridging the end of the eighties and the dawn of the nineties.

A Drop of Luck project
By treating music as a profound source of knowledge and a dynamic force for identity construction, I investigated the cultural and political mechanisms underpinning the musical parallels between Turkish Arabesk and Israeli Mizrahi traditions. The project comprises two curated playlists, scholarly liner notes, a podcast, and a short documentary film.

Uzelli Psychedelic Anadolu compilation
This project was the culmination of a six-month residency within the archives of Uzelli, a prominent Turkish music label. The process involved deep physical research and curation, selecting the most defining tracks from a vast back catalog of over 3,000 albums.The resulting compilation introduces a unique perspective on Turkish psychedelic music, highlighting undiscovered genres and emerging names. Released on vinyl for the first time, as well as on CD and digital formats, the production went beyond simple selection. It included high-fidelity mastering from original master tapes, artist interviews, and the coordination of cover art, liner notes, and global distribution.

The Intimacy of (Be)longing sound talk
Women Empowerment in Music sound talk
Developed for the Goethe-Institut Istanbul, this project reclaims the history of Turkish guest workers in Germany by focusing on the shared and personal experiences of women. Through the Jazzhane festivals, I weave together archival vinyl tracks, meaningful dialogue, and evocative storytelling to navigate themes of "gurbet," the longing for familiar places, and the evolving search for identity.​

By showcasing these diverse narratives, the project highlights the global contributions of women to the music industry and preserves their artistic legacies.

Memory & Heritage
Adam Mickiewicz's Oriental Reality Istanbul
Commissioned by the Consulate of Poland in Istanbul to mark the 170th anniversary of Adam Mickiewicz’s passing, this production is an immersive, multisensory tribute to the iconic Polish Romantic poet. Drawing inspiration from his life in Istanbul and his fascination with Orientalism, the project translates his literary genius into a physical experience through sound, scent, flavor, and visual art. The performance guides visitors through an historic residence, where each floor and room serves as a curated stage. Guests engage with the poet’s journey through the East via evocative poetry readings, archival artifacts, intricate textiles, atmospheric soundscapes, and specially crafted fragrances, alongside edible and drinkable elements designed to evoke his era.

Adam Mickiewicz's Oriental Reality Ankara
This second iteration explores the depth of Mickiewicz’s fascination with the East, posing the central question: was he a detached orientalist or truly a man of the Orient? Within the historic rooms of the Polish Embassy in Ankara, an intricate blend of poetry, visual arts, and atmospheric interventions brings the poet’s emotional landscapes to life. Moving beyond traditional historical biography, the performance creates a sensory encounter through impressions and memory. The project features diverse artistic elements that speak to our modern desire for slow, meaningful experiences, inviting participants to disconnect from digital screens and rediscover the tactile, analog world.

Everybody Loves Samba-dy listening session
In June 2025, I hosted a curated listening session titled "Everybody Loves Sambady" at MAJ in London. This vinyl-only showcase explores an eclectic array of groovy, jazzy, and adventurous tracks hailing from my three primary cultural pillars: Poland, Turkey, and Italy. The session highlights how global artists reinterpreted samba and bossa nova through their own local prisms. These vibrant Brazilian rhythms, synonymous with joy and light, crossed borders to inspire new audiences and infuse distant landscapes with their characteristic warmth.

Fantastic Flowers silent movie soundtrack
In April 2025, I was invited to compose a live soundtrack for "Fantastic Flowers," a feature at the Silent Film Days hosted by Istanbul Modern Cinema. The screening showcased short silent films from 1906 to 1920, renowned for their hand-colored stencil aesthetics. My objective was to complement these striking visuals by creating a modern yet organic sonic landscape, which I performed live during the event.​

Splendido Splendente radio show
Beginning in March 2026, I started a monthly residency at ROVR, hosting a show every first Saturday at noon. "Splendido Splendente" is a vibrant, sensory exploration of global sounds from the 1970s and 1980s. It pays homage to the flamboyant era of private parties, glitter, and neon through a diverse mix of disco, psychedelia, and camp. Beyond the music, the show serves as a platform for anti-totalitarian expression, challenging traditional boundaries between cultural centers and peripheries while championing personal freedom and eclectic localism.

Esmeray sound talk
I was invited to the Berlin-based Outernationale platform to showcase global musical heritage. For the Outernational Series, I designed an immersive visual soundtalk centered on Esmeray, a fascinating Turkish vocalist of the 1970s. This feature blends archival imagery, rare video footage, and historical recordings with a curated vinyl session to tell her unique story.

With a career dedicated to the art of record collecting and music curation, I have partnered with prestigious international festivals, nightclubs, radio stations, and digital platforms to deliver immersive sonic experiences. These collaborations typically manifest as dynamic live performances or the creation of bespoke mixtapes featuring highly specialized musical selections.My DJ sets prioritize rare, high-energy dance floor discoveries from across the globe. I seamlessly bridge traditional Turkish gems and MENA region rarities with vintage samba, soukous, and contemporary global groove. This curation is rooted in the organic textures of 1970s production, jazz, and world music, designed to unite diverse cultural spheres on the dance floor. By blending boogie, disco, house, and nu-jazz, I trace modern electronic sounds back to their vibrant, sun-drenched Latin and African origins.

FoodLEMology project
In 2021, the Sejm of the Republic of Poland officially inaugurated the Year of Stanisław Lem to honor the 100th anniversary of the birth of the renowned futurologist and author (1921–2006). This milestone was celebrated globally through a diverse array of exhibitions, festivals, and academic symposiums dedicated to his creative genius and technological foresight. The "FoodLEMology" project is a culinary art initiative inspired by the written works of the author of "Solaris." A true visionary, Lem predicted the emergence of the Internet, genetic engineering, e-readers, and virtual reality decades ago—alongside the rise of molecular gastronomy and food as an artistic medium. FoodLEMology delves into the gastronomic dimensions of his universe through a curated Instagram presence, offering stylized interpretations of the culinary themes found within his novels.​

Hummus Journey workshops
These immersive sessions blend culinary arts with vinyl listening and traditional storytelling. Participants embark on a sonic exploration of "the land of hummus"—encompassing Turkey, Lebanon, Israel, Syria, Egypt, and Palestine—to examine themes of cultural identity, exchange, and appropriation. This multidisciplinary experience pairs deep listening with a hands-on masterclass in the craft of preparing hummus.

Pazar & Shuk performative dinner and workshops
People leave traces of their presence in the city’s spoken and written history, in its collective memory, landscape, and culinary culture. All these signs are woven into the city's fabric; they define the unique character and identity of each place. Markets and bazaars offer the best vantage points for observation. Join us in visiting local markets of the Middle East. The performative dinner features signature market dishes, alongside stories about the bazaars and the key figures who inhabit them—vendors, customers, and chefs.
